The increasing demand for sustainable transportation has elevated the significance of electric vehicles (EV) as clean and efficient modes of transportation. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of factors influencing energy consumption in electric passenger vehicles based on real-world driving data. Extensive data from six identical EV, covering a diverse range of road types in Qingdao city, was collected and analyzed. The study investigates the impact of driving conditions, operational scenarios, and regenerative braking on energy consumption. Key findings include the substantial role of air conditioning in energy consumption, distinct energy consumption characteristics in urban, suburban, and highway conditions, and the influence of different speeds on regenerative braking efficiency. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of EV energy consumption patterns and provide insights for optimizing energy efficiency in electric vehicle technologies.
