Results of submillimeter-wave attenuation measurements of aqueous solution of bovine serum albumin (BSA) are presented. It is found that the attenuation characteristics of 35% aqueous solution of BSA agree with average attenuation characteristics of beef muscle and pork muscle, and it can be used as a substitute for muscle in attenuation measurements at submillimeter-wave region.
