Aircraft Towing or Pushback Tug is one of Ground Support Equipment in the airport. It is a special vehicle for moving aircraft between different locations on an airport. As for now, the conventional Aircraft Pushback Tractor is a fossil fuel engine vehicle and operated by 3 people. On the other hand, electric vehicles have become more widely used as community have more awareness on environmental issue while gaining support from rapid technology innovation. Thus, development of electric vehicle Aircraft Pushback Tug is proposed. It is also enhanced with modern features which allow it to be operated using remote control. As part of this project, it is necessary to identify potential hazards as well as analyze occupational safety and health risks in terms of product safety and safety of use of products. This research utilizes mix method which integrate quantitative and qualitative analysis using SHERPA, HEART and Fault Tree Analysis. The results of this study are hazard control strategy recommendations that should be taken into consideration for making guidelines or Standard Operating Procedures and working instructions of Electric Vehicle Remote Control Pushback Tug.
