This paper compares the Total Harmonic Distortion and Time domain parameters such as settling time and steady state error at a switching frequency of 10Khz, using Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) and Ziegler Nichols (Z-N) method for tuning Synchronous reference frame Proportional Integral (SRFPI) control in grid synchronized inverter. The DC source (660V) can be considered as the boosted output DC voltage from electric vehicles or some other DC link corresponding to the same purpose. The three-phase inverter with LC filter having some local resistive loads converts the DC voltage into AC voltage which is then synchronized with the grid. The dq to abc & abc to dq transformation is used to control the current transfer from the inverter to the grid after synchronization. By using PWM Modulator, the controlled gate pulse is provided to the inverter. The result thus obtained are compared.
