The Metropolitan Expressway Public Corporation has studied the establishment of a new telephone system which receives the designation of an origin (entrance) and destination (exit point) by a user through a telephone and provides information only related to the zone that the driver will actually use. A simulation was then developed to compare the new system to the one in current use in terms of the contents of information provided. The results show the new system gives drivers almost 100% of what they need, while the current system has an average of almost 80%.
