Electric vehicles (EVs) are gaining popularity because of their dedication to the environment and potential to decrease carbon emissions. The lack of reliable and sustainable charging alternatives, especially in residential areas, is a significant barrier to using battery-powered vehicles. Limited electric vehicle charging infrastructure contributes to series anxiety, which is holding back their widespread adoption. To solve this problem, hybrid electric vehicle charging stations using solar and diesel generators have been proposed to provide reliable and sustainable electric vehicle charging in residential areas. Hybrid electric vehicle charging station systems use solar power during periods of high solar radiation, reducing the demand for electricity from the grid and providing a greener alternative to traditional charging methods. To ensure that the electric car can be recharged continuously during periods of low solar radiation, diesel generators are used. Electric vehicle charging requirements and local weather are considered when designing hybrid systems to deliver optimum performance. The system is adaptable and can be adapted to the specific requirements of different residential areas. Hybrid electric vehicle charging station systems have proven to be cost effective, delivering huge benefits to electric vehicle owners and the environment. Not only does the technology reduce grid dependency and charging costs, but it also contributes to sustainable development and reduced carbon emissions. Homeowners can also benefit from the system's ability to act as backup power during a power outage. Overall, hybrid electric vehicle charging stations using solar and diesel generators are a potential option for reliable and environmentally friendly electric vehicle charging in residential areas. The technology has the potential to dramatically increase the adoption of electric vehicles, support sustainability and improve the overall standard of living for owners. For the purpose of enhance system efficiency and expand its range of applications, more research and development is needed.
