In this paper, we analyze the performance of the generalized selection combining with Gaussian distributed weighting errors for physical-layer security of a wireless communication system. Exact closed-form expressions for the secrecy performance in terms of the secrecy outage probability and the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity are derived. Moreover, asymptotic expressions are obtained and provide insights on how the channel parameters affect the secrecy performance. Monte-Carlo simulations are conducted to assess the accuracy of our analytical framework.
