With the development of marine transport and expansion of the port scale, the port has become the energy intensive area and may evoke the pollution of surrounding environment. This paper studies the large port energy systems including integrated renewable energy, energy storage devices, plugged-in electric vehicles and shore to ship power supply. Based on the knowledge of multi-agent systems and distributed optimization, an innovation energy management solution for large ports is proposed, which considers energy entities with different energy forms. This method can not only ensure the balance of supply and demand(including power, heat and gas), but also optimize the energy allocation of ports and improve the energy utilization efficiency. Finally, simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed large port energy management solution based on distributed optimization with multi-agent systems.
