This paper elaborates on the definition, role, and military applications of virtual unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targets. It provides a comprehensive overview of current research on virtual UAV target technology and tactical applications. The article further constructs a model to evaluate its effectiveness in air defense operations from four aspects. By using the Monte Carlo method, the paper simulates the air defense combat process of virtual UAV targets and provides in-depth calculation and analysis of their combat effectiveness.
