In this paper, a multi-sensor Gaussian leakage model of the logistics park LNG monitoring system is established and simplified for the performance requirements of the logistics park LNG monitoring system, and then the optimal multi-sensor model layout is determined by optimizing the number and positioning of the multi-sensor layout accordingly. The safety and reliability of this layout is exemplified by a differential evolutionary algorithm. The results indicate that in such a layout, the algorithm performs well in accurately locating leaks in liquefied natural gas storage tanks within the logistic park. The worst-case traceability precision has also reached 0.64%, and it exhibits effective convergence within a relatively small number of iterations. Finally, a case model was built using Google Maps and Safer Trace software to further demonstrate the effectiveness of the optimization.
