This work discusses how public trust in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs, or drones) could be increased through the implementation of ethical guidelines in drone behaviors. It elaborates the challenges of transparency, ethical decisions in current drone use, and potential ways forward to increase public trust before drones become ubiquitous to people’s daily lives.
