It highlights the usefulness of the joint systematic teaching methodologies for the design and assessment of educational Learning Objects (LOs) in technology-mediated learning environments. Different reviewed studies report satisfactory results in learning by using LOs that match in the use of teaching methods for their construction. The case of the subject of Archeology of the Bachelors in Tourism at the University of Guadalajara, where teaching was based on random and unorganized use of teaching materials, raised the need for another model to strengthen the teaching. LOs were designed based on the articulation of three systematized pedagogical models, including the ADDIE model for development and LORI model for evaluation. After evaluating two prototypes, results indicated a high level of acceptance by the target groups that were applied in addition to a sufficient degree of approval by two expert evaluators, which validates the functionality this model articulated for teaching archeology topics.
