We present and compare myopic with non-myopic algorithms for the sensor scheduling problem in 1-to-N multi-target tracking applications. A UAV, equipped with limited sensor resources is tasked to search and track multiple dispersed ground objects. In general, not all observations can be carried out simultaneously. Therefore, a scheduling algorithm that produces an observation sequence is required. We propose an object detection prediction model, which supports the scheduling algorithm in choosing observations with high expected utility.
