In this paper, the performance of ship grounding motion with rigid slope is studied, the six-degree-of-freedom (6dof) motion model of ship grounding with small slop was proposed based on the rigid wall assumption, and the simulations of grounding at different azimuth angles, slop angles, bottom characteristics were conducted. The results show that the modeling technique can be used in the simulation of ship grounding, which has done basic work for the application of ship grounding motion simulation in ship handling simulator.
