Optimization of train timetable is always one of the classic problems in railway operations research. Fixed train stop plan is adopted generally, and the accessibility and balance of OD services is considered relatively rare in previous research. When the line capacity is limited, the service quality of passenger ODs will get worse possibly in order to get feasible timetable for it is ignored. Therefore, a train timetable optimization model that considers OD service quality is proposed. With the objective of minimizing the total travel time, the model features the combination of train skip-stop adjustment and OD service quality constraints. The rolling horizon algorithm is adopted to solve the problem. Finally, taking Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway as an example, a train timetable with 92 trains is obtained. The impact of train skip-stop adjustment on the service demand of passenger ODs is analyzed. The research results show that the model and the algorithm are feasible and accurate, which can lay a foundation for further improvements of collaborative optimization of stop schedule plan and train timetable.
