Ultrawide tuning was demonstrated in Butt-Joint DBR lasers with super structure grating. Tuning range of 63 nm with keeping SLM under CW was investigated. Threshold current variation in the tuning range of 50 nm was as low as 5.0 - 9.5 mA.
