Distributed drive electric vehicle (DDEV) will roll due to lateral force when steering braking, and the dynamic performance and safety performance of the vehicle will be affected. How to control the roll of the vehicle through a reasonable braking system to improve the stability and safety of electric vehicle has become a hot issue concerned by the current electric vehicle manufacturing and research scholars. Based on this, the optimal distribution strategy of steering brake force for distributed drive electric vehicle came into being, aiming at achieving more efficient and stable braking operation. This paper analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign research status quo, research methods and research results of the steering brake control strategy of distributed drive electric vehicle, and predicts the future development direction of the steering brake control strategy of DDEV, and provides references for further research on the braking system of DDEV.
