This study focuses on the visualization and simulation of graphics algorithms based on OpenGL, aiming to intuitively demonstrating the principles and effects of these algorithms through a constructed simulation platform. Initially, the paper reviews the fundamental concepts and common classifications of graphics algorithms and introduces key technologies and development tools related to OpenGL. Subsequently, a visualization and simulation framework based on OpenGL is designed, detailing the simulation processes of typical graphics algorithms such as geometric transformations, rasterization, and lighting and shading. The effectiveness and practicality of the constructed platform are validated through experimental analysis and performance testing. The results indicate that the platform not only enhances the understanding of algorithms but also has broad application prospects, especially in education and research fields. Finally, the paper discusses the challenges faced in the current research and future development directions.
