The roundabout is a very old shape of junction which have been used, but when there are more than two lanes create a congestion problem. This paper deals with a fluid mechanics model to calculate the total capacity in roundabout, then a solution algorithm based on SUMO simulation is developed. The concept is collecting traffic data from inputs and outputs sources of a specific roundabout to avoid congestion. Our system provides a method to control the traffic congestion pattern at a roundabout by build an algorithm controlling the traffic signals before the occurrence of congestion.
