In order to evaluate the efficiency of ground operation at airports, we proposed a method for estimating the fuel consumption for ground movement of the aircraft. Since the amount of fuel consumed by the ground movements is influenced by atmospheric conditions, ground movement characteristics, and pilot's driving tendency at each airport, we used Quick Access Recorder(QAR) data to identify fuel consumption trends at the target airport. Considering that the number of obtained QAR data is not large enough, we checked whether the factors affecting the fuel consumption of the existing models can be similarly applied at the target airports and estimated the tendency of fuel consumption by maneuvering. Furthermore, we proposed a new model that reflects the identified trends, and the comparison results with the existing models indicated that the proposed model is equivalent to or better than them.
