The Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System (C-ITS) combines modern communication with Swarm Intelligence to change transportation by providing benefits in traffic planning, safety, and scalability. This abstract emphasizes the influence of C-ITS on lowering congestion, travel times, and emissions, with an emphasis on dynamic lane changes and junction safety. The incorporation of an automated system directed by onboard sensors demonstrates the control dynamics for safe lane changes. Furthermore, communication improvements lead to better junction safety by reducing collision risks through real-time information transmission. Despite data security and interoperability concerns, C-ITS is set to transform transportation, particularly in addressing important factors such as lane shifts and junction dynamics.
