In this paper a Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA) is fabricated by utilizing biodegradable material, which reduces the electronic waste. The dielectric resonator (DR) is developed with coco-peat and low density polyethylene (LDPE) as bio-composite materials and $\mathrm{T}\mathrm{i}\mathrm{O}_{2}$ is also combined to enhance its properties. The material characterisation of the resonator is also carried out. Further, the dielectric constant of the prepared resonator is measured as 39. The CDRA is tested for its reflection and radiation characteristics. The new material is found to be an effective radiator with 7.4 dBi of peak gain in the frequency band of operation. An operational bandwidth of 493 MHz centred at 5.37 GHz has been shown by the antenna.
