Monitoring of power transmission lines condition is one of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) industrial application. To ensure safe UAVs operation electromagnetic compatibility of their electronics with electric field of power transmission lines (PTLs) should be provided. Modelling of the EF distribution in the lateral and upper zones of the power transmission lines of different classes is presented. Analytical solutions was used for PTLs electric field modelling without regard of PTLs towers. Numerical solutions with the help of final integration technique and uniaxial perfectly matched layers enable taking into account PTLs towers and UAVs conductive parts influence on electric field distribution. Obtained distributions of electric field strength permit determination of the unsafe zones of UAVs equipment operation with regard the PTLs electric field influence.
