Passenger air travel experiences have been transformed by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology into the airline industry, giving conception to the concept of intelligent airports. It provides an advanced overview of how the IoT changes the airport experience for passengers and the industry. To improve efficiency, smart airports include IoT devices and sensors to monitor and collect real-time data. Due to IoT -enabled technologies, improvements in operational efficiency, reduced delays, and better resource allocation can be experienced across the board, from check-in through boarding and baggage handling. Wait times are shorter, security is tighter, and passengers have more direct contact with airlines. IoT also helps create tailored and smooth journeys for travelers. Passengers may get essential information, such as gate changes and flight updates, on their preferred medium, a smartphone app; for airports to better serve their customers, analytics powered by the IoT are essential. The IoT -enabled smart airports have revolutionized the air travel industry by making airports more user-friendly and placing passengers initially. Increases in connectivity and passenger satisfaction are in the works as the aviation sector continues to implement IoT technology.
