This paper presents the implementation of a RMAP bootloader which has been developed in the context of the RPW (Radio Plasma Waves) experiment on the Solar Orbiter mission. It describes the different steps of the RMAP boot mechanism, the performances of this process, the main advantages of such an approach and its integration as a reusable software block in the GERICOS (GEneRIC Onboard Software) framework.
