This paper presents an innovative integration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication technology aimed at enhancing road safety. Drawing upon the strengths of both systems, our approach offers a comprehensive solution to mitigate driving hazards and foster better communication among vehicles. Through the integration of interior and exterior cameras, sensors, and V2X communication, our system addresses key challenges such as drowsiness detection, collision avoidance, traffic sign recognition, and lane departure warnings. In cases of driver drowsiness, our system employs an alarm system to alert the driver, followed by controlled vehicle stops if necessary, while simultaneously notifying nearby vehicles via the V2X network. Similarly, in the event of potential collisions, emergency messages are promptly dispatched to predefined contacts, facilitating rapid emergency response efforts. Additionally, our system utilizes outside cameras for accurate traffic sign recognition and provides real-time alerts to drivers regarding lane departures. By seamlessly integrating these functionalities, the proposed solution offers a multi-faceted approach to road safety, effectively mitigating human errors and enhancing overall situational awareness. This research demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of combining ADAS features with V2X technology, contributing to a safer driving environment for all road users.
