The Urban Helicopter Associate System (UHAS) is an advanced demonstration prototype of an associate system for aiding pilots of rotorcraft engaged in complex missions in urban environments. It is the first of a evolving class of lightweight associate systems that provide full associate decision aiding in a lightweight computing environment. The UHAS is hosted on a laptop computer, and is intended for limited flight demonstrations in law enforcement and emergency medical services (EMS) scenarios.
