There is so much pollution due to conventional vehicles, so today people use electric vehicles in transportation to reduce carbon emissions and running costs. The government focuses on the growth of electric vehicles in transportation. For long-distance travel, it is necessary to charge electric vehicles, so people need to develop charging stations (CS). Therefore, loads are also increased at the distribution generator (DG) and power grid. So, there are fluctuations in power, voltage, and cost. This paper reduced the total electricity cost by using the charging station owner approach. This paper proposes an energy management system that includes three DG (solar, wind, and hydro), four charging stations, and an electric vehicle’s load. In this paper, the North-west (N-W) Corner method is used to find a feasible solution and the modified distribution (MODI) method to find an optimal solution. The total cost was reduced by shifting the electric vehicle load. Here, demand is equal to power generation. By using the MODI method, the total electricity price is reduced to $\mathbf{3 3. 7 9 \%}$.
