The Development Planning Directorate of the USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC/XR) finds CubeSats to have a wide range of technological and economic potential for meeting a wide variety of the Air Force's space program requirements. SMC/XR is bridging university research and experimentation to development of practical applications for future space missions by testing CubeSat technologies in an operationally relevant demonstration.
