Agriculture is one of the key pillars of the global economy. The advent of urbanization and industrialization resulted in a decline in agricultural practices; however, this dynamic is rapidly changing as demand for agricultural/farm land purchase and development grows. The key enablers are people who are interested in buying and selling the aforementioned lands. However, there are some implications in acquisitions or selling the land (government auctions or word-of-mouth). This indicates a clear scope for improvement and development of existing methods by creating an application that assists in easily finding, buying, selling such lands using streamlined auctions. An auction is a process of enabling easy, protected and secured trading of goods and assets. An auction consists of a group of buyers bidding attractive prices for the goods and assets sold by the seller. This paper leverages the auction theory, task auctioning algorithm to determine the highest bidder. In this paper we propose a novel application that enables the smooth buying and selling of agricultural/farmlands through the process of auctions.
