In this paper, we describe multi-sensor system called MIDAS (Modern Intersection Dynamics Analytics System) for real-time and offline traffic analysis at one or more intersections. Fusing both video and ground sensor data, along with signal timing information, the system has been used for a variety of pedestrian and vehicle related applications, including conflict detection in object movements, turn movement counts, incident detection and management, and demand profiling.
