As people pay more and more attention to computer vision, many methods for edge detection have been created. However, these methods also have certain loopholes. The current popular "Canny operator" also lacks the selection value and improper use of sub-methods, resulting in the object edge detection weak edges cannot be detected clearly, some types of noise cannot be avoided. In this paper, the method of "Canny operator" is improved to achieve more accurate detection results. By preprocessing a certain image and comparing the results with the results of the original "Canny operator", we can draw the corresponding conclusions. This article through the improvement of the traditional "Canny operator", The influence of subtle noise on the picture can be properly avoided, and weak edges can also be clearly presented. And subsequent computer vision work has a relatively large impact.
