Accurate estimation of power signal frequency and harmonics has become an urgent requirement in various applications such as system protection, monitoring, etc. Numerous methods of estimation have been developed so far, but the accuracy and speed of convergence are still a challenge under certain frequency variations. So, this paper presents a modified ADALINE using the Taylor modeling with an adaptive tuned Levenberg algorithm which focuses on low complexity, better accuracy, faster convergence speed and better noise reduction characteristics.
