There are many parameters that should be considered for designing a suitable fiber optic cable. We have simulated some of these parameters that are more important than others. By simulation of these parameters, we have optimized manufacture conditions of optical fiber cables. Then a software was prepared, that could compute cable diameter, cable core diameter, stranding angle, minimum bending radius, stranding element length, percentage of tube length, internal and external gap diameter in the cable by taking loose tube diameter, number of loose tubes, stranding radius and lay length as inputs.
