Aircraft automated arrival management and effects of descent trajectory prediction errors on metering conformance has been discussed. The modeled errors do impact system performance. Modeled CAS errors caused losses of separation for spacing intervals at/below 70 sec. Descent CAS error had a significant and greater effect than wind speed error.
