V2X technology enables vehicles to share real-time driving status information with other vehicles or traffic participants and traffic facilities. It connects the originally independent traffic nodes in series. At the same time, it can also generate prediction information through research and judgment algorithms, which is of great significance to improve traffic efficiency, save resources, reduce pollution, reduce accident rate and improve traffic management. In this paper, we discuss the impact of V2X on traffic efficiency by building and simulating a simulation environment. The results obtained confirm that under certain conditions, V2X plays an important role in improving traffic efficiency, effectively reducing waiting time, improving average speed and increasing traffic flow. It can be used for reference to promote the deployment of V2X.
