A new routing protocol based on directional density ratio of vehicle nodes is proposed in this paper. It can be applied to urban scenes with two-way roads. It optimally selects nodes to consider traffic density to achieve robust routing paths to forward data packets. In this new junction selection mechanism, two-hop strategy is used to improve packet transmission ratio and end-to-end delay. Compared with the state of other protocols, the simulation results of this new protocol show advantages in packet transfer rate and end-to-end delay.
