On the verge of introduction of EASA regulation framework for safety of UAVs operations and deployment of first U-space service,s a stereo vision module is presented in this paper that might be used for navigation as well as detect and avoid system accordingly to the U-space requirements. The hardware development of the stereo vision module as well as software implementations are described. Verification tests are explained and analyzed. The paper ends with a conclusion of the work already done and the further steps that are required for integration of the module with UAVs in the U-space environment.
