The Global Positioning System (GPS) was Fully Operational Capacity (FOC) in 1995 and it remained for a long time the only GNSS that can be used by civilian users till 2007 when the Russian decided to support and provide an open access to civilian user without limitation on Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS). Satellite navigation technology is increasingly used almost in all sectors and activities; it has become an essential tool for every demanding professional, commercial and scientific application.
