Railway safety is a critical concern in modern transportation systems, especially in the context of managing the movement of both pedestrians and trains across railway tracks. With the increasing complexity of railway networks and the need for efficient and secure transportation, there is a growing reliance on automation to enhance safety measures. This project focuses on the application of Petri nets and Fault Tree for the analysis of safety in two key aspects: pedestrian crossings and railway track switching.
