Object oriented programming languages offer numerous benefits toward the approach and design of software programs. Primary advantages include code reusability, rapid prototyping, as well as, lower software design and maintenance costs. The use of object oriented programming techniques and concepts as they may apply to the design and construction of fuzzy logic control law implementations are discussed. Fuzzy logic classes, including prototype definitions and hierarchies, are presented. The C++ programming language, an object oriented superset to the popular and widely used C language, is used to implement the fuzzy logic classes.<>
