Summary form only given. New millimeter-wave designs have been use to develop broadband polymer modulators which operate in a push-pull configuration for low drive voltages. Long term operation at optical power levels exceeding 20 mW has been demonstrated. These developments have enabled novel RF-photonic applications such as high-frequency optoelectronic oscillators, arrays of millimeter-wave phase shifters, and SSB modulators.
