We demonstrated a continuously tunable quasi-monolithic THz-wave parametric oscillator. A 5 mol% MgO: LiNbO3 crystal within dimensions of 15 × 20 mm2 was used as a nonlinear optical crystal. Frequency-tunability of THz-wave radiation was obtained by moving the super mirror linearly. The tunable range from 1.65 to 2.71 THz was obtained, which was derived from measured idler wavelength and pump wavelength with an optical spectrum analyzer.
