In this paper, a novel smart fast charging system is proposed to meet various types of charging needs. Based on the modular design principle, the system can be flexibly configured according to the number of electric vehicles and charging power needs, and the configuration is carried out in the use of the charging station. A power distribution unit based on a power electronic device rather than a switch array is proposed to accomplish the above functions. Rather than traditional analog technology mainly based on bus structure, a novel input-parallel output-parallel and output-parallel control strategy is put forward by means of CAN-Bus communication, and it has greater stability and anti-jamming, while easier to expand. Finally, experiment results prove that this control strategy can be very good to achieve the output-parallel current and output- series voltage sharing performance.
