The output voltage of SEPIC can be greater, less or equal to its input voltage, and respond more gracefully to short- circuit output. Working process of SEPIC working in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) was analyzed in detail. The parameter calculation method of SEPIC is also given. The relationship between duty ratio and output voltage of SEPIC working in continuous conduction mode (CCM) and DCM is presented, and the derivation process while SEPIC works in DCM is given in detail. Simulation model based on PSIM is built to verify correctness and feasibility. The simulation results of SEPIC in CCM and DCM was given which verifies the correctness and feasibility of scheme.
