This paper deals with features of simulating inertially stabilized platforms assigned for functioning on unmanned aerial vehicles. Two types of software, which can be used for these systems testing are proposed. The advantages of combining two types of software for checking characteristics of the researched stabilization systems are shown. Features of mathematical models used for simulation of inertially stabilized platforms operated on unmanned aerial vehicles are represented. Two types of dynamics models are characterized. The technique of determining dynamic error during simulation of inertially stabilized platforms is developed. The efficiency of the proposed approaches is proved by simulation results.
