The purpose of this paper is to discuss the causes and effects of freezing in the air of power inspection UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) under freezing weather conditions, and put forward corresponding preventive measures and suggestions. This paper adopts the method of empirical research, expounds the methods to prevent icing. The experimental results show that there is little difference in the icing area under three different working conditions, the maximum is 0.024, the minimum is 0.016. Different types of drones show different ice conditions in the air under the same meteorological conditions.
