The growing number of equipage-based airspace limitations makes it increasingly difficult for the planner to assess a large collection of requirements and the impact of non-compliance. The decisions of what aircraft to upgrade, when to upgrade, and the impact of non-compliance are carefully considered to both maximize effective use of resources and ensure global mobility. The SPARC software tool has an easily understood user interface to: integrate source and analysis; link additional sources; provide details on 27 airspace requirements; display world maps and route analysis; show aircraft upgrade plans; provide a convenient method for updating data; and develop briefing materials. This integrated capability supporting all levels from the top-level decision maker to the operations level is provided on the planner's computer using the SPARC tool that requires no fees or licenses.
