An electronic tachometer, which can be used in unmanned aerial vehicles is designed and constructed. Control unit of the device is a microcontroller PIC16F676. The remote Hall sensor AH173 type, connected to the device, used to measure the speed. To display the speed the seven-segment LED display is used. For proper operation of the device special software is developed. The advantages of the described electronic tachometer are small size and weight, low power consumption, speed measured by the device is outputted in the form of a digital signal, which is convenient to analyze, transfer, convert or amplify.
