Impairments of inter-symbol interference and beat noise in coherent time-spreading optical code-division-multiple-access are investigated theoretically and experimentally by sweeping the data-rate from 622 Mbps up to 10 Gbps with a record-long 511-chip 640 Gchip/s superstructured fiber Bragg grating.
